Three bars appear: 1 each for RGB. Each bar is configured like a thermometer with amount of represented color expressed in percentages. Point phone camera lens and get the percentage of color in the bar. Except it won't stabilize (percentages fluctuate wildly even when camera and item being measured are absolutely still and in sunlight) and you can't capture a true reading (or even close to one) at all because only the camera is utilized, not the ability to photograph any one moment. Not useful and NO SETTINGS on app at all! Add to, app hasn't been updated so iOS won't be able to support this in its future versions. Rip off! $4.99 REFUND PLEASE!
